At Davenport Hollow, our Labrador Retriever program is centered around temperament, health, and purpose. While we respect the beauty of conformation, our priority is producing Labradors with the Intelligence, stability, and gentle nature needed to thrive as service dogs, therapy companions, and beloved family members. 

Our focus on service and emotional support is deeply personal. Our foundation male, Comanche, was selected as a service prospect to help with anxiety, and our foundation female, Cherokee, serves as a migraine detection dog. These dogs are the heart of our program and the inspiration behind our commitment to breeding for meaningful partnerships between humans and dogs. 

We strive to develop well-rounded dogs that excel in emotional support roles, light task work, and as dependable companions. Each litter is planned with a careful eye on temperament, trainability, and health. All breeding dogs undergo comprehensive health testing, including OFA evaluations (hips, elbows, cardiac, patellas) and full genetic panels for breed-relevant and non-breed-specific conditions, ensuring each puppy has a strong foundation for a healthy future.
