About
Welcome to Davenport Hollow, located in the heart of Eutawville, South Carolina. Established in 2021, our farm is home to a growing variety of species as we continue to expand and pursue our passion for raising high-quality animals.
At Davenport Hollow, we specialize in developing competitive lines of Holland Lops and Netherland Dwarfs, with a strong focus on color, conformation, and adherence to the standard of perfection. We are active participants in rabbit shows and remain dedicated to improving our herd with each generation.
In addition to our rabbitry, we are passionate about raising AKC Registered English Labrador Retrievers in Yellow, Black and Chocolate. Our focus is on producing well-tempered, emotionally intuitive dogs with excellent health and sound structure - ideal for service work, therapy and life as a devoted family companion. This mission is deeply personal to us: Our foundation male, Comanche, is my anxiety dog prospect, and our foundation female, Cherokee, serves as a migraine detection dog. Inspired by their impact, we strive to raise Labradors that are not only healthy and intelligent, but truly life-changing partners for the people who need them most.
Our journey started long before the farm. I was raised around a variety of animals - horses, ferrets, ducks - while my husband grew up with more traditional pets. Together our shared love for animals grew deeper when we began rescuing dogs and cats early in our relationship.
Since getting together in 2016, we've rescued over a dozen cats, many of which still live with us - some as spoiled indoor companions, others as beloved farm cats.
Our first rescue, a Lab/Pit Mix named Umbre, joined our family in 2017. Soon after our engagement in 2019, we welcomed Miya, a German Shepherd mix.
At Davenport Hollow, our mission is simple: to raise healthy, well-balanced animals with exceptional temperament - perfect as your next cherished family member or a valued addition to your farm.
